About Beevex

Is training required to use the kit?

It is not. The steps are shown in sequence within the mobile application. A member of field staff can begin applying it the day the kit is received.

How long does the result take to produce?

Minutes. Once the images are taken the result is displayed on the same screen; there is no queue to wait for and no sample to dispatch.

What result does the kit provide?

It states whether the honey is genuine, questionable or contains added syrup. The result is reported as one of those three classifications.

Is the floral source measured?

It is not. Floral source and regional information are retained as data declared by you, on the same record as the assessment.

Are results placed on record?

They are. Every assessment is saved to your account together with its batch, date and image data, and can be viewed subsequently.

Can the report be sent directly to a buyer?

It can. The report is prepared for sharing without requiring an additional summary, in language a non-specialist reader can evaluate.

General

General questions

Who can carry out the assessment?

Beekeepers, intake and warehouse teams, the quality teams of packers and exporters, retailers and inspection bodies. Laboratory experience is not expected; the mobile application shows the steps in sequence.

Is a separate device required?

No. The mobile devices already in use at your organisation are sufficient; there is no separate device to procure, install or maintain.

Does it replace laboratory analysis?

Beevex provides screening and decision support in the field. A batch reported as questionable is set aside for further examination, so laboratory cost falls on suspicion rather than on the whole volume.

Can product in the warehouse or on the shelf be assessed?

Yes. A product already in the warehouse or on the shelf can be examined; no advance preparation is required.

Setup and operation

Setup and operation

How is the starting scope determined?

In the first meeting your intake processes, intake sources and existing control arrangements are reviewed; the appropriate starting scope follows from that review.

How is the kit requirement planned?

From your annual intake volume and the number of sites you operate. You see the number of kits remaining in the mobile application and raise a new request before stock runs out.

When can we start?

Field staff can begin the day the kits are received. Because the steps are shown in the mobile application, no separate training is required.

Does our facility or packaging need to change?

No. Nothing is applied to the product and no new station is added to your production flow; your facility, packaging and way of working stay the same.

Can we try the method on our own batches?

Yes. The method is assessed together under your own working conditions and on your own batches; the scope is settled after that assessment.

Meeting request

Let us plan the setup together, starting from your intake processes and existing controls.

The first meeting reviews your product, sales channels and the risks you face, and recommends a suitable method.
