End-to-end solutions for honey verification.

You assess a sample taken with the analysis kit through a mobile application and determine within minutes whether the honey is genuine or contains added syrup. The result is placed on record against the batch.

Method

From applying the kit to the assessment.

Beevex is deployed without changing existing processes; scope is set through a needs analysis.

01

Field assessment

You determine the authenticity of honey where you stand and within minutes, with no need to dispatch a sample. There is no courier, appointment or reporting queue between opening the kit and the result.

  • A result the same day
  • No additional hardware
  • No specialist staff required
02

The analysis kit

Measured liquid, test dish, dropper and a short guide setting out the steps. The kit is delivered ready for use, prepared so that a single member of field staff can apply it.

  • Measurement is supplied ready
  • A five-drop sample is sufficient
  • Every kit is single use
03

Assessment by camera

The camera on your mobile device assesses the change in the test dish. Interpretation is not left to the user; the result is presented in writing within the application.

  • Independent of the operator
  • The application guides each step
  • Works without connectivity

Assurance

From the result to reporting.

04

Detecting added syrup

You determine whether sugar syrup has been mixed into the honey before the batch is dispatched. The result is reported as one of three classifications.

  • Genuine, questionable or syrup added
  • The assessment rests on measurement
  • Only the affected batch is set aside
05

Source and batch records

Every assessment is recorded with the batch it belongs to, the supplier and the date. The record is not a spreadsheet completed afterwards; it is created at the moment of assessment.

  • The record is linked to the batch
  • Your source declaration is on record
  • Monitoring by supplier
06

Reporting

The result of an assessment becomes a document that can be sent to a buyer or an inspection body without preparing a separate summary.

  • It can be shared directly
  • Prepared in both languages
  • Its basis appears in the document

Capabilities

Core capabilities.

Measurement supplied ready

The liquid is delivered pre-measured; no weighing, dilution or mixing is required.

A five-drop sample

A small sample taken from the jar is used; batch integrity is preserved and no product is lost.

Assessment by camera

The application requests two images; the difference produces a result that does not vary with the person assessing it.

A three-way result

The result is reported as genuine, questionable or syrup added; the next step follows from that classification.

A result within minutes

Once the images are taken the result is displayed on the same screen; there is no second approval or waiting process.

Works offline

The assessment completes once connectivity is restored; there is no need to search for signal in the field.

Records linked to the batch

The result is saved to your account together with the batch, supplier, date and image data.

Reports in two languages

Your domestic and overseas buyers review the same document in their own language.

Supplier consistency

You track through the accumulated record which supplier delivers consistently from batch to batch.

Users

Who uses it?

Field and intake teams

Assess the incoming batch at the intake point and in the warehouse while the vehicle waits.

Quality and purchasing teams

Confirm a batch’s authenticity before filling and dispatch, and monitor supplier consistency.

Inspection bodies

Screen samples in the field and base the priority of further examination on measurement.

Benefits

What Beevex delivers.

Evidence you can present

When authenticity is questioned you present a written result based on measurement and conduct the discussion on shared evidence.

Intake decisions without delay

You view the result while the batch waits on the vehicle or at the weighbridge and make your acceptance decision the same day.

An auditable record

When an enquiry arrives you can see which batch was assessed and what result was produced without conducting a search.

Risk contained at source

Identifying a non-conforming batch at intake is markedly less costly than a recall after packing.

FAQ

Questions about the solutions

Is training required to use the kit?

It is not. The steps are shown in sequence within the mobile application. A member of field staff can begin applying it the day the kit is received.

How long does the result take to produce?

Minutes. Once the images are taken the result is displayed on the same screen; there is no queue to wait for and no sample to dispatch.

What result does the kit provide?

It states whether the honey is genuine, questionable or contains added syrup. The result is reported as one of those three classifications.

Is the floral source measured?

It is not. Floral source and regional information are retained as data declared by you, on the same record as the assessment.

Are results placed on record?

They are. Every assessment is saved to your account together with its batch, date and image data, and can be viewed subsequently.

Can the report be sent directly to a buyer?

It can. The report is prepared for sharing without requiring an additional summary, in language a non-specialist reader can evaluate.
